Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead the nursing operations of a designated unit in Atlanta. The role involves supervising clinical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care within the unit.

In the absence of the Manager or Director, the supervisor may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. A BSN or higher with relevant experience and a current GA RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Must graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN or higher with ≥1 year in specialty OR 3 years in clinical area.
• Current Georgia RN license (NLC/eNLC or Multistate).
• BLS certification required.
• Color vision as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing operations of the unit.
• In absence of Manager/Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit-specific patient population.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team.
• Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Work Hours

7AM-7PM
