Job summary

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. It seeks a clinical supervisor to oversee clinical programs, supervise staff, coach on diagnosis and quality measures, and participate in quality improvement.

The role may provide biopsychosocial assessments and therapy to patients. The exempt position requires NM licensure (LISW/LPCC/LMFT or psychiatrist/psychologist), at least one year of supervisory experience, and compliance with background checks, TB

Qualifications

• Must be independently licensed in the State of New Mexico (LISW, LPCC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychologist).
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
• Must be willing to use personal vehicle when needed.
• Must submit to LCDF background check, TB screen and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative oversight of assigned programs.
• Conduct individual supervision for staff and review documentation.
• Offer coaching on diagnosis and quality measures.
• Coordinate with other supervisors for group supervision.
• Participation in quality improvement and operational meetings.
• May provide direct services (biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, individual/couples/family/group therapy).

Job Summary:

The clinical supervisor is responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of the programs assigned. Clinical supervisor will conduct individual supervision for assigned staff, review documentation for non-independently licensed staff and provide coaching and guidance on diagnosis and quality measures, coordinate with other supervisors in facilitating clinical group supervision, and participate in quality improvement and operational meetings. Clinical supervisor may also provide services to patients which may include biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy.

Core Competencies:

• Knowledge of various modes of psychotherapy and evidence-based practices, especially crisis intervention and short-term models using individual, group, and familial approaches.
• Skill in assessment procedures, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic treatment, and case management practices including follow-up and closure.
• Ability to establish therapeutic alliance with clients and their families.
• Ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team and with the public.
• Assesses and incorporates culture into assessment and treatment processes

Job Requirements:

• Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
• Must be or apply to be board approved supervisor with counseling and social work boards
