Job summary

La Clinica de Familia in New Mexico is seeking a licensed clinical supervisor to provide clinical and administrative oversight across the programs it runs in Southern New Mexico.

The role includes conducting individual supervision, reviewing documentation for non‑independently licensed staff, coaching on interventions, supporting staff with crisis or staffing needs, coordinating with other supervisors, and taking part in quality improvement and operational meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be independently licensed in the State of New Mexico (LISW, LPCC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychologist).
• Have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Have a minimum of two years working with SMI/SED populations.

Job Summary

The clinical supervisor is responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of the programs assigned. Clinical supervisor will conduct individual supervision for assigned staff, review documentation for non-independently licensed staff, provide coaching and guidance on implementing effective interventions, support community service workers with potential crisis or staffing needs, coordinate with other supervisors in facilitating clinical group supervision, and participate in quality improvement and operational meetings.

Core Competencies

• Knowledge of various modes of psychotherapy and evidence-based practices, especially crisis intervention and short-term models using individual, group, and familial approaches.
• Skill in assessment procedures, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic treatment, and case management practices including follow-up and closure.
• Ability to establish therapeutic alliance with clients and their families.
• Ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team and with the public.
• Assesses and incorporates culture into assessment and treatment processes
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
