Stars Behavioral Health Group in Fresno, CA, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead outpatient teams serving youth and families. The role requires a Master’s in social work, MFT, or psychology, a LMFT/LPCC/LCSW license, and 2+ years of post-licensure supervision experience.

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years post-licensure experience and ability to provide Clinical Supervision to BBS-registered associates.
• Licensed as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW required; two years post-licensure.
• Valid California Driver’s License required and eligibility to meet agency driving criteria.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train staff to provide services to adolescents and transitional-age youth with varying needs.
• Provides ongoing training, supervision, and evaluation of team members’ performance.
• Ensures adherence to BBS requirements when providing clinical supervision.
• Uses in vivo supervision as appropriate.
• Supports team through participation at client team meetings and crisis intervention when needed.
• Reviews and approves clinical documentation for compliance.
• Develops relationships with county agencies and resources to support continuum of care.

What you bring to SBHG:

• Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university required.
• Five (5) years of experience in the mental health field, providing direct clinical care, are required.
• Two (2) years of leadership experience preferred.
• Experience providing services to youth and families.
• Experience working with county mental health, child welfare, or juvenile probation systems and services is highly desired.
• Licensed as a LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW required, plus two (2) years post-licensure experience and ability to provide Clinical Supervision to BBS-registered associates.
• Valid California Driver’s License required and eligibility to meet agency driving criteria required.

How you will make a difference:

• Hire and train staff to provide services to adolescents and transitional-age youth with varying degrees of social and emotional needs, functional impairments, resources, and support.
• Provides ongoing training, support supervision, and evaluation of team members’ performance.
• Ensures adherence to BBS requirements when providing clinical supervision to appropriate intern/associate staff.
• Uses in vivo supervision as appropriate.
• Supports team members, as needed, through participation at client team meetings, including Treatment Teams, Family Therapy sessions, and therapeutic groups; and in availability by phone to assist in client crisis intervention and problem resolutions.
• Provides coaching, training, and supervision to mental health clinicians.
• Reviews documentation and completes required documentation by regulatory bodies.
• Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with other county agencies, health care facilities, cultural centers, placement centers, and other resources necessary to affect the continuum of care for clients in the community.
• Reviews and approves all clinical documentation in and outside the electronic medical record to ensure compliance with all requirements and standards.
• Attends meetings with county and community partners as needed.

Division/Program Overview: Outpatient community-based programs. Serves clients (ages 0-18). Connect people with community resources, including vocational resources for young adults. Group therapy and family counseling. Medication management and support services.
