The Opportunity: Clinical Supervisor in an Outpatient setting supervising master's level clinicians

Job Type: Full-time, On-Site

Pay: $78,000-$89,000/ year

As the Clinical Supervisor for our Quincy and Taunton outpatient behavioral health clinics, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. You'll be responsible for providing individual and group clinical supervision to support the growth and competency of clinical staff, while overseeing adherence to best practices. This role also includes conducting utilization reviews, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on complex cases, and may involve maintaining a small caseload to stay connected to direct client care.

This role will be based primarily out of our Taunton office with some travel required to our Quincy office.

This role is about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. As a Clinical Supervisor, you'll bring the following qualifications:
  • An advanced degree in mental health, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • A current professional license in a field related to mental health counseling (LMHC, LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Applicant must be at least three years' post-licensure.
  • Must have a minimum of five years in clinical settings as a therapist and two years providing peer supervision to other therapists.
  • Knowledge of milieu therapy, behavior modification in outpatient and residential settings; knowledge of substance abuse modalities, co-occurring disorders, and ability to manage personnel and other program resources
Clinical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise masters-level therapists both individually and in a group setting to ensure clinical and administrative compliance and increase quality care and practice of Evidence Based Practices.
  • Complete clinical documentation review daily, provides feedback and corrective action to providers, completes chart audits, and is part of the multidisciplinary review team.
  • Complete required documentation for supervision and document in EHR.
  • Coordinate, plan, and present administrative and clinical trainings to staff to increase compliance and clinical expertise.
  • Implement the policies and procedures of VOAMASS, including the continuity of care
  • Perform various duties as requested by the Director of Outpatient Services relating to the operation of the programs, which include, but are not limited to, the productivity report reviews, caseload detail reports, and compliance standards with providers.
  • Meet with Director of Outpatient Services weekly for individual supervision
  • Contribute in the development of program operations and procedures.
  • Serve as part of the multidisciplinary review team to complete utilization review of client records and implement corrective actions for all clinical documentation to maintain agency compliance with state regulations and mental health professional standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
