Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Director to lead clinical operations across its Maryland facility. The role focuses on executing the clinical program roadmap, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality client care in a recovery-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree and Maryland licensure (LCSW-C/LCPC/CAC-AD) with extensive supervisory experience, particularly with chemical dependency or dual-diagnosed clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or higher) in related field is preferred
• 5 years' supervisory experience in hospital/residential setting preferred
• 3 years' experience in chemical dependency/ dual diagnosed clients

Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to facility to ensure smooth daily function
• Ensure full execution of the clinical program roadmap
• Cultivate and maintain a skilled, effective clinical treatment team, providing oversight and professional development
• Oversee client engagement and morale, fostering a warm, recovery-oriented atmosphere
• Ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to facility to ensure smooth daily function
• Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap

• Oversee client engagement and morale, interacting with every client and fostering a warm, encouraging, recovery - oriented atmosphere
• Ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree (or higher) in related field preferred
• 5 years' supervisory experience in hospital/ residential setting preferred; 3 years' experience in chemical dependency/ dual diagnosed clients
• Current licensure necessary to practice as clinical director in Maryland (LCSW-C, LCPC, CAC-AD)
