TITLE: Clinical Supervisor

LOCATION: Portland, OR

TERM/STATUS: Full-time Employee / FTE

COMPENSATION/PERKS: Compensation package includes…

Our client is an innovative nonprofit agency providing comprehensive services to adults and families impacted by homelessness, poverty, and addictions. The Clinical Supervisor supervises and monitors all aspects of the programs while on their shift. The position is also responsible for assisting the Assistant Program Manager and Business Director in the overall operations and success of the program. This position monitors the territory outlined in all contracts and delegates work assignments to ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently. The Supervisor follows up on quality control with the Assistant Program Manager and Business Director to ensure all trainees and regular employees are managed to succeed and excel in their positions.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's degree in a human services field and two years' experience in behavioral health.
  • CADC II or above is required.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred.
  • Must have a minimum two years of supervisory experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure that program services are practiced according to the highest professional and ethical standards and assure that the health and safety needs of clients are met.
  • Ensure that daily activities for enrolled clients are planned, implemented, and coordinated with the team
  • Develop and maintain systems to ensure compliance with regulations, licensures, credentials, and contractual stipulations, including oversight and management of the patient records system.
  • Ensure that policies, procedures and expected practices are implemented, maintained, and followed.Provide and document at least 2 hours of supervision per month for each full‑time staff supervised. The two hours must include one hour of individual face‑to‑face contact for each person supervised and a minimum of one hour of group supervision.
  • Ensure clinical privileging requirements are met for all direct reports pursuant to Privileging policy.
  • Complete annual performance reviews
  • Implement corrective action plans when indicated.
  • Be a liaison with partnering agencies and programs.
  • Review documentation to ensure that services delivered are clinically appropriate and effective.
  • Review and appropriately identify the level of follow‑up needed with critical incident reports.
  • Process client grievances.
  • Represent program in the greater community.
  • Perform direct clinical services to clients, including individual and group sessions, case management, assessments and Director’s Holds when needed. Identify and coordinate staff training needs.
  • Work cooperatively with Associate Director of Integrated Behavioral Health in Housing, compliance officer and Quality Manager to develop and maintain QI/UM plan and outcome data collection.
  • Plan and develop program initiatives and innovations.
  • Develop and implement policies with assistance from Associate Director of Integrated Behavioral Health in Housing.
