Clinical Supervisor I – B12 Non‑Exempt: $73,900 – $111,600 annually (depending on experience)

Clinical Supervisor II – B13 Exempt: $81,000 – $123,100 annually (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily clinical supervision and oversight to assigned clinicians and Qualified Mental Health Associates, ensuring the highest clinical standards aligned with CCS philosophy and policy.
  • Ensure clinicians are up‑to‑date with evidence‑based practices (EBPs) and that the agency meets or exceeds outcomes standards.
  • Monitor completion of all clinical paperwork, providing supervision when standards are not met.
  • Maintain superior quality of clinical work and intervene when necessary.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations at Lakeview Heights and potentially at crisis services.
  • Apply CCS personnel policies and procedures diligently.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and conduct performance evaluations for new staff; implement discipline and termination policies as needed.
  • Report abuse or neglect cases and complete investigative reports with safety plans.
  • Initiate civil commitment investigations and coordinate with hospitals, case workers, and state agencies.
  • Schedule and participate in agency meetings, ensuring continuity of service delivery and fostering positive community partnerships.
  • Maintain a caseload and provide quality individual, group, and family counseling services.
  • Follow grievance procedures for consumer complaints and work to resolve them.
  • Ensure compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and Greater Oregon Behavioral Health (GOBHI) contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Assistant Administrator for staff coverage, including vacations, sick leave, and training.
  • Collaborate with contracted prescribers to schedule services and coordinate medical treatment.
  • Work with Quality Assurance Coordinator to meet standards.
  • Participate in internal administrative meetings and hold regular clinical staff meetings.
  • Communicate with the public to promote services and educate on mental health and substance use programs.
  • Serve on community boards or committees related to program services.
  • Assist the Facility Administrator with equine assisted therapy program operations as needed.
  • Transport clients as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervision Structure

This position is co‑supervised by the Facility Administrator (non‑clinical functions) and the Residential Clinical Manager (clinical oversight). The Clinical Supervisor directly supervises all assigned clinical staff.

Qualifications
  • Clinical Supervisor I: Master’s degree in psychology, sociology, or a related human services field; at least 2 years of post‑graduate clinical experience.
  • Clinical Supervisor II: Licensed professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with 5 years of clinical experience; preferably 3 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of mental illness and addiction diagnosis, treatment, and counseling principles.
  • Strong judgment, decision‑making, planning, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in record‑keeping and ability to prepare detailed, accurate documentation.
  • Effective communication with diverse populations, staff, agencies, clients, and the public.
  • Understanding of laws, regulations, and administrative rules related to mental health and chemical dependency.
  • Ability to learn and apply CCS procedures, procurement, budgeting, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills and ability to assign work to subordinates.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Capacity to work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintenance of highly confidential information and adherence to confidentiality laws.
  • Strong written and oral communication, including presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Valid driver’s license and possession of personal auto insurance for client service purposes.
  • Passed criminal background checks as required by Oregon regulations.
  • Typing proficiency and basic office software skills.
Physical Demands

Typical day involves computer, phone, and office tasks; occasional standing, walking, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Valid driver’s license is required for on‑site travel.

Work Environment

The role alternates between office settings and community/client homes. Noise can vary from moderate to loud; occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.
