Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for Allegheny County Mobile Crisis to lead clinical operations on a mobile crisis team. • Active clinical mental health license as required by state/local regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with individuals with mental health challenges and related populations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to behavioral health crises in the community as part of the mobile crisis team.
• Provide real-time clinical supervision and coaching to front-line staff.
• Conduct clinical screenings and risk assessments to determine mental health needs and safety concerns.
• Lead trauma-informed crisis interventions and support staff in documentation and billing requirements.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to front-line clinicians.
• Document clinical interactions in the electronic health record accurately and timely.
• Support licensure hours for staff and deliver training on crisis intervention practices.

What You’ll Do

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will: [SPD-OP-090...RHD A-TEAM | Word]

• Respond directly to behavioral health crises in the community as part of the mobile crisis team.
• Provide real-time clinical consultation and field support to Behavioral Health First Responders before, during, and after crisis responses.
• Conduct clinical screenings and assessments to evaluate mental health needs, trauma, substance use, risk, and safety concerns.
• Lead and support crisis interventions using trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practices.
• Provide day-to-day clinical supervision, coaching, and guidance to front-line staff.
• Review clinical documentation and notes to support quality and billing requirements.
• Provide required clinical supervision hours for staff pursuing licensure in accordance with applicable licensing standards.
• Provide clinical training and skills development related to crisis intervention, documentation, and best practices.
• Accurately document clinical interactions in the Electronic Health Record.
• Identify trends, risks, and training needs and communicate concerns to program leadership.
• Support program operations during periods of high service demand, major community events, or emergency responses.

QualificationsRequired

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Active clinical mental health license as required by applicable state or local regulations, such as LPC, LCSW, or LSW
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals with mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, homelessness, or related populations
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing clinical supervision or lead clinical support to front-line staff
• Ability to work flexible hours as required by program operations
• Ability to successfully complete a required background check
• Ability to obtain CJIS Certification upon hire [SPD-OP-090...RHD A-TEAM | Word]

Schedule

• 1st Shift availability needed
• 2nd Shift availability needed
• Flexibility may be required based on crisis response and program needs

Working & Physical Requirements

• This is a mobile, community-based emergency response position
• Ability to travel and work in various community environments
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, twist, and climb steps as required
• Ability to assist individuals with limited mobility as necessary
• Must be comfortable working in changing and uncontrolled community environments
