Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead the clinical team in Ohio, providing supervision, education, and training to ensure compliant, high‑quality patient care. You will oversee documentation, performance, and program operations with minimal supervision.

Required Ohio licensure (LCDC III, LICDC, LICDC-CS, LISW, or LPCC) and the ability to travel up to 15%. Strong leadership and collaboration with leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio licensure in LCDC III, LICDC, LICDC-CS, LISW or LPCC is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in SUD settings.
  • Ability to ensure CARF/state/federal compliance across clinical programs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and leadership for all clinical teammates.
  • Ensure timely, complete documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and deliver training to address identified clinical needs.
  • Monitor program performance and participate in surveys/inspections as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to maintain a high standard of patient care.

Normal hours of operation M-F 6a-2:30p and rotating Saturdays 6a-10a

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will manage and provide leadership for all clinical teammates. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of performance by providing clinical supervision, education, and training for the team. You will ensure all clinical documentation is on par with state/federal regulations and Pinnacle Treatment Centers policies. You will work independently and under minimal supervision, which requires clear knowledge of the agencies’ policy and procedures including disciplinary and grievance adherence.

Requirements:

  • Licensure and/or certification within the state of Ohio:
    • LCDC III, LICDC or LICDC-CS
    • LCDCIII
    • LICDC
    • LICDC-CS
    • LISW or LISW-S
    • LPCC
    • Psychologist, psychiatrist, or independent marriage and family therapist
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Assures compliance with the clinical program with CARF and all state, federal, local, and governing body policies. Assist in all surveys, inspections, and funding sources.
  • Evaluates the clinical needs of the institution and develops appropriate training to address identified needs.
  • Supervises and facilitates clinical supervision for clinical teammates.
  • Insures timely and complete documentation of treatment services through regular review of records and digital signing as needed
  • Presents material in seminars, individual and group counseling, when necessary, and supervises the educational aspects of the clinical program.
  • Assists professional staff in resolving program and treatment difficulties as may be encountered, supervises assigned personnel providing group and individual counseling/therapy. Assists in planning individual treatment programs and activities.
  • Assures continuing staff effectiveness for assigned area of responsibility, provides supervision and guidance to individual staff, monitors family treatment programs.
  • Provides continuing professional development of assigned staff, reviews individual development goals, progress and evaluation and certification of progress and results.
  • Monitor all clinical program areas regularly to evaluate performance, assist with issues/concerns, and interact with patients.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information to ensure patient rights are protected.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the medical profession, referral sources, EAPs, and other health related facilities and organizations through formal working and transfer agreements. Network and marketing to promote the program and maintain a positive community relationship.
  • Assess the needs of the participants through outcome surveys, suggestions, and meetings to ensure consistent, quality care for the population we serve to include follow-up with adjustments to the development of the program.
  • Directly communicate with other leadership teammates and follow up with periodic updates to address immediate concerns and approval of all administrative decisions that affect the clinical team and program.
  • Maintain caseload when needed for census purposes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
