Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Supervisor in Indiana to coordinate treatment aspects from admission through discharge and follow-up. The role involves leading an interdisciplinary team and supporting state CARF readiness under the Clinical Director’s supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required with LMHC or LCSW licensure in the state of employment.
• Three (3) years’ experience in substance abuse and/or related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensures completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation.
• Maintains a caseload of approximately twelve (12) patients.
• Performs counseling tasks including initial and master treatment plans, ASAM assessments, individual service plans, biopsychosocial, discharge summaries and group therapies.

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will assist with coordination of all treatment aspects of a patient’s care. You will serve as a professional teammate and/or leader of an interdisciplinary team and is responsible directly to the Clinical Director for the coordination and continuity of care from admission through discharge and follow-up of the patients. You will also assist the Clinical Director in problem solving, conflict resolution and readiness for state CARF audits. You may also provide coverage for the Clinical Director during their absence.

Requirements

• Master's degree required, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure required in the state of employment for clinical supervision.
• Three (3) years’ experience in substance abuse and/or related field.

Preferred

• Post master’s degree training in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Five (5) years of experience in counseling or case management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation same day as patient encounter and as required by state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Maintains a caseload of approximately twelve (12) patients.
• Performs all tasks related to counseling to include completion of initial and master treatment plans, ASAM assessments, individual service plans, ARTS where applicable, biopsychosocial, discharge summaries and individualized/group therapy.
• Assures that patients are assessed and placed in an appropriate level of treatment according to state and federal guidelines.
• Counsel patients and address individual needs of the patients.
• Arrange referrals and community information for patients as appropriate.
• Assures all documentation is collected from patients as required by state and federal standards, within the regulated timeframes.
• Submit required statistical and other data as required.
• Shall provide and obtain the following therapeutic services as determined by the Treatment Team and specified in the patient’s Individual Treatment Plan: individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling, community activity referrals, evidence-based outcome assessments, ASAM assessments, and other components of the treatment program.
• Report all relevant developments and information affecting the patients and facility operation.
• Shall provide teammate coverage as scheduled.
• Complete administrative tasks
• May conduct duties of the Clinical Director in interim capacity when Director is off-site.
• Coordinates care with the multi-disciplinary team, including but not limited to developing a system to ensure UM requirements are met with Clinical Coordinator or Clinical Director daily.
• Enliven compassionate care and empower patients to realize their best level of functioning in the community.
• Attend team meetings and complete all training courses timely as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
