Location: Chesapeake, VA. Indian Creek Correctional Center is a level 2 medium security prison that provides specialized treatment services to individuals with substance use disorder.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm OR 7:45 am – 4:45 pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Pay rate: $70,000-$75,000 annually

The Clinical Supervisor Is Responsible For:

• Providing overall clinical leadership and management on all clinical aspects of the program, ensuring design fidelity to the treatment model as per the clinical plan.
• Conducting regular clinical record reviews to ensure completeness and quality within established timeframes.
• Providing direct individual and group supervision to clinical staff.
• Ensuring scheduled groups and activities occur as planned.
• Training counseling and other personnel on clinical, programmatic, and documentation topics.
• Addressing participant issues and concerns promptly, in line with Spectrum’s clinical models.
• Collaborating with Virginia Department of Corrections personnel to ensure quality service delivery and promote recovery in a correctional setting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• State Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in Virginia or equivalent.
• Prior supervisory experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with Cognitive Therapeutic Community models is a plus.
• Experience in correctional or secure environments is advantageous.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
