Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Study Project Manager I to bridge science and operational delivery across clinical studies. You will lead cross-functional Clinical Study Teams, ensuring quality, on-time execution within budget, and alignment with company objectives.

Role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years in pharma-related or clinical research roles, with experience in study initiation through completion, and an ability to navigate a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6 years of pharma-related and/or clinical research experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Defines and drives operational strategies and deliverables for one or more clinical studies.
• Leads clinical operations planning through to execution in a cross functional matrix environment.
• Coaches and supports cross functional team members; ensures study milestones and budget adherence.
• Oversees vendor selection, scope development, and management of external vendors; identifies risks and opportunities.
