Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking a Clinical Data Analyst to support acquisition and retention of accounts by interpreting client clinical data and preparing reporting metrics for Highmark customers, including healthcare consultants and brokers.

The role focuses on analyzing utilization, cost trends, and population health outcomes, while collaborating with strategy consultants and client managers to deliver insightful analyses and data deliverables that inform clinical and financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a clinical related field.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business or a clinical related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a clinical or managed care setting.
• Includes 3 years analyzing clinical outcome data and 3 years project management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client clinical data to determine trends and cost drivers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare data analyses and deliverables for clients.
• Develop and foster internal relationships to design reporting and deliverables.
• Research health trends to inform reporting and best practices.
• Support client strategy inquiries and participate in internal workgroups.
• Lead a process improvement project annually with Clinical Strategy leadership.
