RPh on the Go is seeking a licensed Texas pharmacist for a 13-week contract in Helotes. The role focuses on sterile IV compounding, clinical home infusion services, and patient counseling.

The pharmacist will evaluate patient eligibility, prepare and dispense sterile medications, and collaborate with providers to ensure safe, effective therapy. Responsibilities include interpreting lab data for pharmacokinetic decisions, managing infusion equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is required.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Texas.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience; sterile IV compounding preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge in home infusion pharmacy practices.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients for home infusion therapy eligibility.
• Develop and adjust medication therapy plans based on clinical data.
• Prepare, verify and dispense sterile medications per USP standards.
• Educate patients, caregivers and providers on therapy and infusion administration.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and monitor outcomes.
• Manage infusion pumps and equipment following safety protocols.
• Maintain documentation and support regulatory compliance and safety initiatives.
