Great Lakes Management is seeking a Clinical Assistant Staffing Coordinator in Hopkins, MN. You will support the DON and clinical team with staff scheduling, resident documentation, and care coordination to ensure safe, consistent resident care.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in home health, assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
• Staff scheduling or staffing coordination experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with initiative and follow-through.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with electronic resident records and scheduling software.
• Caring, team-oriented approach for serving older adults.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical staff schedules with RN/DON, manage open shifts and coverage.
• Identify staffing gaps and communicate schedule changes to staff and leadership.
• Maintain accurate staff schedules and availability records.
• Verify resident service schedules and update under RN/DON supervision.
• Maintain resident charts, progress notes and clinical documentation per regulations.
• Enter new resident information, assemble and manage charts and discharges.
• Coordinate with Rehab on therapy dates and staff follow-through.
• Monitor blood pressures, weights and pulses; report health changes.
• Attend staff meetings and support regulatory compliance during surveys.
