Job summary

Great-Lakes-Management-Co. in Hopkins, MN is seeking a Clinical Assistant Staffing Coordinator to support the Director of Nursing and the clinical team with staff scheduling, clinical coordination, resident documentation, and resident care needs. This role helps ensure appropriate staffing coverage and safe, consistent care for residents.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $24 to $27 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in home health, assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
• Staff scheduling or staffing coordination experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical staff schedules with the RN/DON, including open shifts, call-offs, time-off requests and coverage needs.
• Proactively identify staffing gaps and communicate schedule changes to staff and leadership.
• Maintain accurate staff schedules, availability, and scheduling records.
• Verify resident service schedules and updates under RN/DON supervision.
• Maintain service agreements, resident charts, progress notes, and clinical documentation.
• Enter provider new resident information; assemble new charts and process discharged charts.
• Monitor resident blood pressures, weights, and pulses; report changes to staff.
• Support regulatory compliance and participate in state and federal surveys as needed.
