CVS Health Staff Pharmacist role in a CVS Pharmacy location requires delivering patient-centered pharmaceutical care and leading the team when the Pharmacy Manager is not present. The pharmacist supports immunizations, counseling, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications safely and provide patient counseling.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in absence of Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and workflow compliance.
• Deliver immunizations and coach staff to do so.
• Manage inventory with emphasis on cold chain protection.
• Escalate issues to the Pharmacy Manager as needed.
