Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead within our Retail pharmacy, supporting the Pharmacy Manager and directing the team on duty. You will ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services, while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality standards.

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will mentor staff, manage workflow, and uphold CVS Health’s commitment to compassionate care, accuracy, and patient safety across all pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pharmacy as proxy during bench shifts and support the Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Offer immunizations and coach Pharmacy Technicians to immunize where permitted.
• Maintain compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS policies.
• Support scheduling and provide leadership to the pharmacy team.
