Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System Olathe Campus and the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center seek an academic spine surgeon to join their expanding team.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with a broad range of spinal conditions at the Olathe campus, collaborating with orthopedic spine surgeons, neurologists, and pain management specialists.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent required.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Neurosurgery.
• KS medical license eligibility.
• Resume/CV and Cover Letter required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Neurosurgery to staff, students, and residents, including didactics, shadowing, service duties, and research.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care, program development, and scholarly activity.
• Dedicate 90% of time to active clinical spine neurosurgery practice.
• Serve on Neurosurgery departmental committees.
