Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System Olathe Campus is seeking an academic Neurological Spine Surgeon to join our expanding team. You will provide comprehensive surgical care for a broad range of spinal conditions and participate in teaching with medical students and residents.

The position emphasizes dedicated clinical practice (90%), collaboration across subspecialties, and ongoing involvement in departmental committees. Relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent.
• Board-eligible/board-certified Neurosurgery.
• Eligible medical license in KS.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in teaching Neurosurgery to clinical staff, medical students and residents including didactic lectures, shadowing experiences, inclusion on service activities, or involvement in research activities
• Dedicate 90% of time to active clinical practice in the Neurosurgery Department
• Serve on Neurosurgery departmental committees
• Other duties as assigned
