The role requires collaboration with physicians, nurses and therapists, delivering targeted therapy and thorough progress notes, with attention to patient and family education and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates Speech, Language and Swallowing disorders/disabilities
• Provide therapy for targeted disabilities
• Maintains acceptable patient care productivity
• Completes thorough diagnostic reports and documents daily progress
• Counsels and educates patient/family
• Communicates with other essential medical personnel
