If you want to work on meaningful technology that directly improves patient outcomes and be part of a company that values curiosity, ownership, and excellence, we would love to meet you.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Specialist to deliver best-in-class clinical education and product in-servicing to our customers across the US. This role is responsible for educating and supporting healthcare professionals on the proper use and application of Sciton’s laser and light-based technologies.

As a clinical and technical expert on all Sciton products, you will play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, supporting clinical excellence, and promoting patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Travel Requirements

This position requires frequent domestic travel throughout the United States to provide clinical education, product training, in-servicing, and customer support. The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel frequently, including overnight travel, based on customer and business needs. Travel may include visits to hospitals, medical practices, training facilities, customer sites, and industry events. The candidate must maintain a flexible schedule and be available to accommodate customer training schedules, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and educate clients, including plastic surgeons, dermatologists, physicians, and clinical staff, on the safe and effective use of Sciton’s aesthetic and surgical laser systems.
  • Deliver initial post-sale training to new customers and provide ongoing education as needed to support product usage and customer satisfaction.
  • Address clinical questions and post-sale issues, offering support and troubleshooting in collaboration with the broader service and support teams.
  • Develop, update, and maintain clinical training materials, including user manuals and reference guides, to ensure content remains current and relevant.
  • Design and implement customer and distributor training programs in the field; evaluate the need for ongoing education and recommend updates as necessary.
  • Lead physician training sessions, combining didactic instruction with hands‑on labs using live patients, in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a clinical education resource, providing expert guidance and support to customers, sales staff, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Field Service, Product Development, and other departments to ensure cohesive support and communication.
  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices by attending accredited educational programs and maintaining up‑to‑date clinical knowledge.
  • Assist in the evaluation and enhancement of clinical training programs, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Conduct on‑site visits to support training, collect clinical data, and evaluate the use of Sciton technology in practice.
  • Partner with international and local distributors to fulfill training and clinical evaluation needs, ensuring consistency and compliance across regions.
  • Represent Sciton at regional trade shows, industry seminars, and training events, delivering clinical education and product demonstrations as required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor in support of departmental and company goals.
Key Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required, with a strong clinical foundation and up‑to‑date certifications.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Clinical Specialist role, preferably within a medical aesthetics or dermatology setting.
  • Direct experience in the aesthetic industry is essential—familiarity with energy‑based devices (e.g., lasers, IPL, RF) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, professionalism, and consistently high standards in clinical environments.
  • Proven ability to educate, coach, and train clinical peers—both in small groups and one‑on‑one settings.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex clinical information clearly and confidently to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities in fast‑paced and dynamic situations.
  • Self‑motivated, assertive, and able to make sound clinical judgments independently while maintaining alignment with company protocols.
  • Physically capable of transporting and setting up medical equipment (including lasers); requires lifting, pushing, and maneuvering devices safely.
