Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a clinical education specialist to provide expert clinical support and develop customer education programs for Medline products and services. You will deliver end-user insights to enhance clinical processes and secure business in your specialty.

The role involves collaborating with the salesforce, supporting product conversions, and contributing to quality investigations and program improvements across regions. Travel up to 75% may be required.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN or Certified Surgical Technologist credentials.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical operating room experience.
• Cross-functional experience in Cath Lab, IR, SPD, Supply Chain, or Labor & Delivery preferred.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data to drive improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Job Summary

Job Description Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to customers and salesforce on clinical products and services.
• Assist with expansion and business retention of potential and existing clinical customers in collaboration with the Medline salesforce.
• Partner with sales force on product conversions and implementations.
• Assist sales in their territories as needed at the local and national/corporate account level.
• Assist with quality investigations, waste assessments, clinical review & observations for improved practice and best practice recommendations.
• Conduct clinical and utilization reviews to identify waste, standardization opportunities and clinical practice adjustments for programs of specialty area.
• Contribute to the development of new products along with the modification and improvements of existing products by providing customer (end user) insight for process enhancement and improvement opportunities.
• Engage in professional organizations; attend national, regional, and local industry events.

Required Experience

• Education RN - Nursing Bachelor's Degree (CNOR certification preferred) or Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Work Experience Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in the operating room required.
• Cross-functional experience in ancillary procedural areas - such as the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), Sterile Processing (SPD), Supply Chain, or Labor & Delivery is preferred.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
• Experience prioritizing workload and scheduling effectively in order to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Position requires travel (by air/auto) up to 75% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Environment includes office setting and medical facilities. Position may require non-traditional work hours during in-services (ex. weekends, multiple work shifts).

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position: $79,000.00 - $119,000.00 Annual. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

• For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
