## Clinical Social Worker - Float - WeekendsApply: Richmond, VA: Full time: Posted Today: R46061This inpatient position is a 40-hour per week, day shift, that requires Saturday and Sunday as part of the weekly schedule. It is on-site at VCU Health main campus in downtown Richmond, VA. The Clinical Social Worker-Float (Weekends) provides temporary cross-departmental coverage of care coordination services to patients and families to meet the overall staffing needs of the department in a large hospital setting. The Float Clinical Social Worker must be highly adaptable, flexible, dynamic, a quick learner, and able to thrive in a complex and fast-paced working environment. Essential responsibilities include: complete psychosocial assessments; support care planning; provide psychosocial intervention; educate patients, their family members, staff, and interdisciplinary team members; coordinate discharge planning services; facilitate compliance with treatment; and work with the community to provide needed services. Age specific groups served: Adults and Pediatrics, depending on unit assignment. The purpose of the Clinical Social Worker (MSW) position is to provide both direct patient care to patients and families and assist in the coordination of team delivered services.
