Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 3 years directly related experience.
• LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT in New Mexico required.

Responsibilities

• Provide, oversee, and/or administer a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services in a high-intensity clinical environment.
• Lead and train lower level counselors/social workers, students, and/or interns engaged in related therapeutic/patient care activities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs.
• Consult with other therapists and related professional staff; refer clients to appropriate service agencies as required.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including emergency services and crisis intervention as needed.
• Refer clients to social service agencies for financial assistance and other services; visit patients in their homes if required.
• Document and monitor treatment outcomes; adjust approaches as needed.
• Consult with legal and treatment agencies regarding patient records and responsibilities.
• Prepare documentation for civil commitments or other proceedings.
• Perform administrative tasks and assist in research to develop service plans.
• Provide clinical supervision to lower level staff and graduate students; offer training to professionals.
• Promote best practices and meet departmental expectations for access and productivity.
• Support professional development through ongoing education and workshops.
• Prioritize patient safety and report safety concerns promptly.
