Qualifications

• MSN and DNP or PhD in nursing required.
• Active Louisiana RN license required.
• Active Louisiana APRN license required.
• National certification through AANP or ANCC required for PMHNP.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably at graduate level.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing practice in clinical setting.
• Subject matter expertise in course of instruction.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to clinical practicum locations in Louisiana, typically 1–2 hours per site.
• Show Chamberlain Care by demonstrating care, respect and professionalism.
• Be available to meet diverse student needs across age and background.
• Engage students by outreach and rapid response to requests for help.
• Bring professional experience to life through development and industry perspectives.
