Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research in Los Angeles is hiring a Clinical Site Director to lead the site’s operations and clinical trials, ensuring targets are met and data quality remains high. The role covers budgeting, staffing plans, patient recruitment strategies, study initiation, and regulatory compliance to support fast, compliant trial execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years of clinical management experience.
• Strong project management and strategic planning.
• Experience with site operations and budgets.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidance.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational budget and meet site targets.
• Maintain 24/7 control over site operations and trials.
• Develop strategies to expand site capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to ICH GCPs and Velocity SOPs.
• Oversee patient recruitment and staffing plans.
• Coordinate with sponsors, CROs and IRBs as needed.
• Lead site staff training and performance evaluations.
