Job summary

White Deer Run on East Market Street in York, PA seeks a Clinical Supervisor for our Partial Hospitalization Program. The role focuses on supervising and training clinical staff to ensure high-quality services and patient safety.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Health (Master’s preferred) with 3+ years of clinical experience and at least 1 year with the patient population. CPR/restraint certification is required; opportunity to shape program delivery and ensure legal compliance.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ clinical experience in a health or human service agency.
• One or more years’ working directly with the facility patient population required.
• Certification/Licensure as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary and ancillary support staff in the provision of mental health services to patients.
• Providedaily administrative oversight to theteam, withtechnicalsupervisionof licensed clinical staff exercised in accordance with scope-of-practice guidelines.
• Provide care coordination as needed to patients to ensure the coordination of care and to facilitate access to needed services.
• Review case records for completeness, consistency, and quality of services providedincluding application of proper techniques; ensures compliance with state and federal mandates.
• Assist in planning, developing, and implementing mandatory and discretionary programs in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations by determining type and level of services to be provided; measure of quality-assurance to be employed; andformulating and carrying out policies and procedures.
• Review and assess client treatment plans, including short- and long-term goals. Review clinical records to evaluate the necessary level of patient care.
• Complete required paperwork including intake forms, progress notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries
• Document and maintain client contacts, care coordination, crisis/consult contacts, and community contacts according to ethical standards and organizational protocols.
• Conduct treatment plan review as required.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
