Job summary

Mental Health Resource Center, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee clinical services at the Comprehensive Services Center.

The role includes evaluating assessments to determine care levels and ensuring therapists deliver individual, group, and family therapy aligned with client needs and goals. Responsibilities include supervising staff, overseeing intake, monitoring symptoms, and maintaining accurate clinical records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related Human Services field; three years’ experience with mental illness required.
• Valid Florida license (LMHC, LCSW or LMFT) required.
• Certified or eligible to become Qualified Supervisor with the State of Florida; FARS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff providing individual, group, and family therapy.
• Oversees the intake process to facilitate CSC services.
• Ensures symptom monitoring and management of individuals served by clinical staff.
• Completes mental health status exams on individuals in crisis and assists in emergencies.
• Maintains current knowledge of Florida Baker Act Statutes 394 and related forms.
• Collaborates with team and participates in consultations with Psychiatrists, ARNPs and supervisor.
• Reviews intakes and documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Assesses and monitors risk, trauma, abuse, and neglect and reports as required.
• Ensures medical records are maintained accurately and timely.
• Provides clinical supervision for licensure to employees (if qualified supervisor).
• Assists with delivering services at other sites due to staff absences.
