Job summary

Community Health Service, Inc. in Rochester, MN seeks a Clinical Services Manager to provide clinical leadership for nurses and support staff, standardize workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality improvement in a multi-site primary care setting.

You will partner in a dyad with Site Managers, oversee recruitment and coaching, advance patient safety, develop policies, and coordinate staffing to sustain high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

  • RN licensure in good standing and a BSN from an accredited program.
  • Minimum three years of nursing experience with program management or supervision preferred.
  • Experience in a primary care setting is desirable.
  • Knowledge of nursing principles, QA processes, and outcomes measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead nursing practice across CHSI locations and standardize workflows.
  • Directly supervise RN and LPN staff and coach nursing leaders.
  • Partner in dyad leadership with Site Managers to balance staffing and clinic needs.
  • Develop and review clinical policies, standing orders, and training programs.
  • Monitor nursing quality metrics and participate in risk management.

Position Summary

The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership to all primary care support staff through direct supervision for nurses (RN/LPN) and indirect supervision for nursing assistants and medical assistants. This role develops high‑performing clinical support teams, ensures consistent clinical workflows, maintains regulatory compliance, advances quality improvement initiatives, and supports exceptional patient‑centered care. Working within CHSI’s dyad leadership model, the Clinical Services Manager partners with Site Managers to ensure high quality daily clinic operations through appropriate staffing, competency validation, workflow consistency, clinical training, and professional development, while collaborating with the Medical Director to promote evidence‑based clinical practice, patient safety, and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership

Education

A bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school is required.

Licenses & Certifications

Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse; Current Basic Life Support Certification.

Experience

Minimum three years of nursing experience; Program management and supervisory experience desirable; Experience in a primary care setting preferred.
