Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Room patients promptly, review medical history, update EMR, and prepare charts
• Monitor patient condition, assist with walking, transfers, and exams
• Obtain specimens, perform tests, and document results
• Perform EKGs and assist with minor procedures
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed

Clerical & Other Tasks

• Coordinate care with specialists and labs
• Manage documents, forms, and patient correspondence
• Call-backs, scheduling, and check-out procedures

Environmental & Safety

• Follow infection control protocols
• Maintain clean and stocked environments
• Ensure safety and proper medication storage

Patient Service & Financial

• Enhance patient experience and manage flow
• Handle billing, insurance verification, and payments

Regulatory & Credentials

• BLS/CPR certification
• MA certification required within 90 days in PA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
