Job summary

The University of Bridgeport invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in the School of Chiropractic to teach clinical sciences including Principles and Practice, Evidenced Based Practice, Business Procedures, and Spinal/Extremity Techniques. Courses may include lectures and labs, with potential involvement in other labs such as Physical Exam.

The role requires a Doctorate in Chiropractic, a minimum of three years of related experience, and demonstrated excellence

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Chiropractic required.
• Minimum of three years of related professional experience.
• Experience teaching in traditional and online university settings.
• Ability to analyze, synthesize and interpret student learning outcomes data.
• Proficiency with word processing and Internet applications.
• Strong curriculum development and research skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach clinical sciences courses (Principles and Practice, Evidenced Based Practice, Business Procedures, and Spinal/Extremity Techniques) including lectures and labs.
• Develop and maintain curricula and ensure content currency.
• Advise students and participate in outcomes assessment and curriculum reviews.
• Participate in program goals, service activities, and department meetings.
• Fulfill administrative responsibilities and stay current with teaching trends.
• Maintain professional conduct and safety practices in all duties.
