Job summary

Northeast College of Health Sciences in New York seeks a full-time Faculty member for teaching in the Doctor of Chiropractic program within Academic Affairs. Exempt status with responsibilities across foundational and clinical sciences, health centers management, and scholarly activities.

Responsibilities include course instruction, student assessment, and clinical supervision. Must hold a Doctorate and NY chiropractic license; strong teaching ability and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching field.
• License to practice as a Doctor of Chiropractic in NY for teaching clinical science subjects.
• A demonstrated aptitude for teaching health science students.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to function in a team.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach course material; establish objectives; select texts and materials; prepare and grade assignments.
• Provide students with current material aligned to the curriculum; ensure comprehension and competency.
• Explain expectations clearly; organize material logically; emphasize key ideas.
• Encourage student participation; maintain professional rapport and ethical conduct.
• Assist and advise students; support academic success and student well-being.
• Deliver patient care in health centers as a Faculty Clinician; engage in research and scholarly activities.
