Qualifications

• Possess earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the field they teach.
• Must supervise clinical experiences with licensure in applicable jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated aptitude for teaching health science students.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and present course material; establish objectives and communicate them to students.
• Select and order texts; prepare, administer and grade papers and exams; assign grades.
• Provide current course material aligned with the curriculum; ensure student comprehension.
• Demonstrate mastery; integrate current knowledge within the field into subject matter.
• Explain expectations, motivate participation, and maintain professional rapport with students.
