Job summary

Corcept Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Sales Consultant to drive growth across the assigned territory in the United States. The CS will build relationships with high-prescribing physicians, leverage knowledge of endocrinology and oncology, and execute territory plans in line with compliance standards.

The role requires up to 100% travel (including overnight), a BA/BS, 5+ years sales experience with endocrine relationships preferred, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience required, endocrine relationships, specialty therapeutic, hospital, or orphan drugs sales experience highly preferred.
• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time, including up to 40% overnight travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop professional relationships with influential high prescribers and thought leaders in the territory.
• Leverages expertise and knowledge of the therapeutic disease state, marketplace, competitors, industry, and cross-functional activities to manage business opportunities and challenges.
• Develops and implements effective customer-specific territory plans and communicates insights to internal stakeholders.
• Prioritizes time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential.
• Plan and participate in education programs and speaker dinner programs.
• Manage territory expenses/budget to support sales and marketing activities.
