HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with MaineHealth to offer travel nurse opportunities across MaineHealth facilities. Positions are 8, 10, or 13 weeks based on facility needs, with comprehensive patient care responsibilities in hospital settings.

We seek professionals with at least one year of acute care experience, required certifications, and a degree from an accredited school. English communication is essential to collaborate effectively with care teams and patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Abide by code of conduct and compliance policies and expectations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What You’ll Do:
