Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with MaineHealth, offers travel nurse assignments across its network in Maine. This role supports patient care across facilities for 8, 10, or 13 weeks, with focus on safety and collaborative care.

You will monitor patients, communicate with care teams, and educate patients and families while meeting clinical standards. Requires acute care experience, appropriate certifications, a degree, and clear English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Abide by code of conduct and compliance policies and expectations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide appropriate education.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
