This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, primarily caring for patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.

Responsibilities include:

• Promoting patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment needs.
• Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Developing, implementing, and documenting care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, and addressing patient preferences and barriers to involvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Required: Nursing diploma or associate’s degree, RN license, and no prior experience necessary.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
