Job summary

IU Health seeks a Clinical Nurse to provide and coordinate evidence-based patient care across the care continuum. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, with active participation in teaching and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Requires active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions with 2+ years acute care.
• BLS certification required by AHA; additional ALS certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum (assessment to evaluation).
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to ANA standards and Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
