Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Georgia is seeking a Risk Management RN to support the Risk and Insurance Services Department. You will coordinate risk management activities, conduct clinical reviews, develop event chronologies, and help investigate patient harm events.

Under supervision, you’ll identify trends in safety reporting and prepare documents for potential litigation. You will also serve as a resource to hospital staff, participating in safety initiatives and hospital committees to promote

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• 3 years hospital or healthcare experience required.
• RN Georgia licensure and/or multi-state licensure required on hire.

Under the direction of the Risk Director or Manager, identifies trends in safety event reporting, and gathers documents in anticipation of litigation. Serves as a resource to hospital staff by participating in hospital committee meetings and safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education

• Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field Preferred

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience in a hospital or other healthcare setting Required
• Experience with EPIC Preferred
• Experience with RL Safety Reporting platform Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required
