Job description

The Clinical Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating clinical and operational risks across the organization. This organizing and administering risk management activities including, but not limited to, managing claims made against the Clinic, coordination with defense counsel and Clinic insurers, facilitating quality improvement activities, and managing and analyzing risk management data.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Registered Nurse), required
• Current MS state licensure, required
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in management of a medical office, preferred
• Proficiency in use of an EMR, preferred
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or willingness to obtain certification, required
