Job summary

Network for Hope in Louisville, KY is seeking a Clinical Responder to ensure timely evaluation of organ referrals, support donation processes, and coordinate with hospital teams.

The role requires clinical expertise, strong decision-making, and the ability to perform onsite assessments under pressure while maintaining professionalism and compassion.

You will work with a dedicated team to improve donor family experiences and uphold NFH's mission.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a medical/critical care field or OPO required.
• Competence in electronic medical records (EMR) is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide exemplary customer service.

Responsibilities

• Completes timely onsite response to hospitals for viable organ referrals.
• Conducts chart reviews and determines medical suitability for donation.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop referral management plans.
• Informs hospital staff on referral progression and maintains donor records.
• Aids with customer service issues and assists in corrective actions.
