Network for Hope (NFH) is seeking a Clinical Responder to perform on-site assessments of potential organ referrals, coordinate with hospital teams, and advance the donation process with professionalism and compassion.

The role requires 2+ years in medical/critical care, EMR proficiency, and strong communication under high-pressure conditions, with collaboration across clinical staff. NFH offers benefits and opportunities to contribute to saving lives through organ, tissue, and eye donation.

Qualifications

• Two years of medical/critical care experience.
• Experience with EMR and computer-based documentation.
• Strong communication and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely onsite response to donation service area hospitals for viable organ referrals.
• Performs chart reviews and determines medical suitability for donation with the clinical team.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to plan referral management from initial referral through death or DCD evaluation.
• Informs hospital staff on progression of referral process.
• Maintains donor information and charting documentation accurately.
• Assists with process complaints and customer service issues, including corrective actions.
• Consults with on-call organ administrator and Family Support Liaison as needed.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
