Job summary

Indiana University Health System in Indiana is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our full-time day shift. The role requires current Indiana licensure, RRT credential, AS degree, BLS, and 2–4 years of experience in respiratory care with 1 year in area of specialty.

A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. Candidates should have basic computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and be prepared to obtain ACLS/NRP/PALS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• RRT credential by NBRC.
• AS degree in Respiratory Care; BS degree preferred.
• BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications within 6 months.
• 2–4 years of Respiratory Care experience.
• 1 year in area of specialty (preferred 2).
• Basic computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

• Requires current Indiana licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana.
• Requires R.R.T. (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential by the N.B.R.C. (National Board for Respiratory Care).
• Requires an AS degree from a CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) and a regionally accredited respiratory care. Preferred BS degree.
• Requires Healthcare Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Requires other advanced life support certifications per unit/department of specialty within 6 months of hire (ACLS, NRP, PALS).
• Requires 2-4 years experience in Respiratory Care.
• Requires 1 year experience in area of specialty. Preferred 2 years' experience in area of specialty.
• Requires ability to apply basic computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
