Job summary

Baptist Health (Jacksonville) is seeking a Clinical Resource Coordinator, Plastics, to join the Main OR team at Baptist Downtown in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role supports perioperative services with coordination, patient assessment, and room/case preparation.

Required are 3-5 years of perioperative nursing, a current RN license, an Associate of Science in Nursing, and Basic Life Support. The coordinator helps ensure smooth case flow and surgeon support across the plastics

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Associate of Science in Nursing required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare rooms and cases for assigned plastics procedures.
• Assess patients and anticipate case needs; facilitate surgeon requests.
• Serve as specialist for the service with ability to scrub, assist or circulate.
• Facilitate timely turnovers and first case starts.
• Coordinate with vendors and keep preference sheets current.

Clinical Resource Coordinator, Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for specific specialty for coordination, preparation of assigned rooms/cases, assessment of patients, anticipation of needs of the case.
• Facilitates any special needs of the surgeon, meets with vendors and keeps preference sheets current.
• Is the specialist for a given service.
• Is able to perform any role in the service - scrub, assist or circulate.
• Facilitates timely turnovers and 1st case starts.

Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 Years of Perioperative Nursing Experience Required.

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Associate of Science, Nursing
