Baptist Health in Downtown Jacksonville is hiring a Clinical Resource Coordinator, Plastics, to join the Main OR team. This full-time opportunity supports a dynamic perioperative unit within a major health system.

The role requires 3–5 years of perioperative nursing experience, current RN licensure, and BLS certification. The position involves coordinating rooms and case needs and supporting OR operations in a Plastics service line.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years perioperative nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Licensed RN required.
• ASN in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare rooms/cases; assess patients and anticipate case needs.
• Meet surgeon preferences; coordinate with vendors and update preference sheets.
• Serve as the service specialist for the assigned area (plastics).
• Capable of scrubbing, assisting, or circulating as needed.
• Facilitate timely turnovers and 1st case starts.

Clinical Resource Coordinator, Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for specific specialty for coordination, preparation of assigned rooms/cases, assessment of patients, anticipation of needs of the case
• Facilitates any special needs of the surgeon, meets with vendors and keeps preference sheets current
• Is the specialist for a given service
• Is able to perform any role in the service - scrub, assist or circulate
• Facilitates timely turnovers and 1st case starts

Experience Requirements

• 3-5 Years of Perioperative Nursing Experience Required.

Education & Credential Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Associate of Science, Nursing
