The University of Michigan is seeking a Clinical Research Technician/Assistant to coordinate clinical research activities. This role involves subject recruitment, data management, and regulatory submissions. Opportunities for co-authoring journal articles and attending meetings are provided. A minimum commitment of 2 gap years post-college is preferred.

The central aspect of this role will be coordinating and facilitating clinical research, including but not limited to subject recruitment, regulatory submissions, data analysis/manuscriptpreparation, andmaintaining databasesfor multi-site registries. Training related to research ethics, human subject protections, clinical study design, and data analytics and statistical methodology will be provided.The CRC will have opportunities to co-author medical journal submissions and will be encouraged to present results at regional and national meetings. We are seeking a responsible, motivated, and independent individualwhowillbecompletingorhascompletedanadvanceddegreeinhealth-relatedareasandcancommitaminimumof 2 gap years between college and medical/graduate school.
Thispositionmayindependently providestudycoordinationforsimple andmoderately complex clinicalresearchstudies.As a member of a coordination team, this position may help support a portfolio of projects with varying levels of complexity. Mastery of all job duties from the CRC-Assistant position on the Michigan Medicine CRC Career Ladder is required.This position has a term limitation of 2 years, with an option to extend if funds are available.

Monday-Friday:8am- 4:30pm; On-site work required. Travel to satellite clinics may be required.

This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
This position has a term limitation of 2 years, with an option to extend if funds are available. At the end of the stated term, your appointment will terminate, and you will not be eligible for Reduction-in-Force (RIF) benefits. This term-limited appointment does not create a contract or guarantee of employment for any period of time as you will remain subject to disciplinary or other performance measures, up to and including termination, at the will of the University in accordance with existing University policy and standards for employee performance and conduct.
