Job description

The Clinical Research Talent Sourcer plays a critical role within Yoh Services LLC’s Validation LS & HC division by proactively identifying and engaging qualified candidates for clinical research roles across diverse geographic markets throughout the United States. This position serves as a key partner to the recruiting team by conducting thorough research and initial screening of candidate resumes to verify relevant skills and experience, thereby ensuring alignment with client-specific requirements. While this role does not involve conducting in-depth interviews or managing the full hiring process, the Clinical Research Talent Sourcer is instrumental in accelerating talent acquisition by delivering a steady and reliable pipeline of qualified professionals. Working remotely with a focus on specialty practices, this position contributes to reducing time-to-submit and supports client satisfaction through effective candidate sourcing and evaluation.

By actively leveraging advanced sourcing techniques and maintaining close collaboration with recruiters, the successful candidate will help Yoh Services LLC maintain a competitive edge in securing top clinical research talent. This role offers an opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that values accuracy, strategic thinking, and effective communication. It is suited for individuals passionate about clinical research and talent acquisition, eager to contribute to the ongoing success of the Validation Practice Area.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize comprehensive sourcing strategies by employing job boards, applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, social media platforms, referrals, and other modern recruiting tools to identify and engage potential candidates for various clinical research roles—accounting for approximately 40% of daily activities.
  • Conduct detailed resume reviews to assess candidates’ clinical research experience and skills, identify any inconsistencies or overstated qualifications, and ensure alignment with job requirements before forwarding candidates to recruiters for further evaluation, contributing to about 35% of task focus.
  • Collaborate closely with recruitment partners to gain insights into current hiring priorities, commonly sought clinical research competencies, and geographical staffing needs, enabling continuous refinement of sourcing methodologies based on client demands and recruiter feedback—about 15% of role responsibilities.
  • Maintain meticulous and organized records of candidate data, manage talent pipelines efficiently, and stay current with industry trends, labor market fluctuations, and evolving clinical research skill sets to enhance the effectiveness and precision of sourcing efforts, covering 10% of the role.
  • Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to stay abreast of best practices in talent sourcing and clinical research recruitment.
  • Adhere strictly to all organizational policies and legal regulations concerning data privacy and candidate confidentiality throughout the sourcing and documentation processes.
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately screen, evaluate, and present qualified clinical research candidates based on job descriptions and client specifications.
  • Strong understanding of common clinical research skill sets and roles, facilitating targeted sourcing efforts aligned with market demands.
  • Proficient in building and maintaining robust talent pipelines across multiple U.S. locations, leveraging digital tools and platforms for maximum reach and impact.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills for partnering with recruiters, enabling streamlined submission processes and improving overall recruitment efficiency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate candidate records and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, major job boards, and innovative sourcing strategies, demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability in talent acquisition approaches.
  • Capacity to stay informed about evolving labor market trends and clinical research industry developments, applying insights to optimize sourcing tactics.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Sciences, or related field preferred, though equivalent experience in recruiting or talent acquisition will be considered.
  • At least one year of experience in recruiting, sourcing, resume research, or talent acquisition, with a demonstrated track record of successfully identifying clinical research candidates.
  • Proven experience sourcing candidates specifically for clinical roles is required, reflecting familiarity with the nuances of clinical research talent requirements.
  • Strong capability to swiftly interpret resumes, assess skills, and match candidate qualifications against detailed job requisitions.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, major job boards, ATS platforms, and advanced internet search techniques is preferred for effective candidate identification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory to ensure clear and professional interactions with candidates and recruiting team members.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven recruiting environment, maintaining high performance under pressure.
