Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Clinical Research Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations and personnel across cardiology, vascular, kidney, and other specialties.

You will lead a team, ensure protocol adherence, and manage study coordination activities, including participant visits and regulatory compliance. This role supports study startup, enrollment, and performance across Boise and Meridian, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 4 years of clinical research supervision experience.
• BLS certification required (Provider Certification).

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities and performance of assigned research staff, including work assignment, prioritization, coaching, training, performance management, scheduling, timecard approval, and collaboration with research leadership.
• Ensures studies comply with protocol, GCP, IRB policies, and federal regulations; oversees study coordination and CRC functions including participant visits and informed consent.
• Assists in staffing, onboarding, and retention of research personnel.
• Oversees workload distribution, staffing coverage, and operational support for studies.
• Collaborates with investigators and staff to support startup, enrollment, execution, and study performance.
• Serves as an operational resource on research processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assists with implementation of department policies and SOPs.
• Participates in sponsor, regulatory, and accreditation audits and quality improvement activities.
• Maintains competency in clinical research regulations and organizational requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
